Working with Styles Gallery

Several features were added to a new Ribbon Interface. These features facilitate the work with styles. They are: the gallery of styles, selection of all template objects with the set style and saving the object’s style.

Styles Gallery

The styles gallery is located on the “Home” tab in the “Styles” tab section.

The styles gallery includes preview of the template’s styles. The Style Sheet Editor is used to create and edit styles. It can be opened by clicking the “Edit Style” button.

The styles can be applied to all template objects using the gallery of styles. In order to do it you should select the object in the template and click the needed style.

Saving Styles

Now, you can save the set style of any object. Select the object, which style should be saved; select “Save Selection as a New Style” in the styles gallery menu.

The “Create New Style from Formatting” dialog will be opened to set a new style name.

After saving, the style will be added to the template styles collection. It will be displayed in the gallery and applied to the StyleName property of the selected object.

Selection of Controls

It is possible to select all objects with the set style, i.e. all objects which StyleName property is set to the assigned style. In order to do it, you should select the object with the needed style and then select the “Select Controls with Similar Style” item in the styles gallery menu.

As a result, all the objects on the current page, which StyleName property is set to the assigned style, will be added to the selection.
